This month, we have a couple of new sections –\u00a0Humour\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Features<\/em>. \u00a0In\u00a0Humour\u00a0<\/em>we have\u00a0Cricket – As Explained to a Foreigner<\/a>. \u00a0<\/em>I’ve never understood the game and understand it even less now.<\/p>\n

Features\u00a0<\/em>contains a couple of spring recipes: \u00a0one for a mouth-watering Nepalese Curry<\/a>;\u00a0<\/em>and another for a\u00a0Garlic\u00a0Dressing<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>contributed by Monica Wilde<\/a>, a herbalist and forager.<\/p>\n

Dr Gwen Enstam has reviewed Akong Tulku Rinpoche’s enlightening and motivational\u00a0text,\u00a0Taming the Tiger<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>which contains instructions on meditation techniques and the cultivation of compassion in oneself for others.<\/p>\n

Meditation: \u00a0What’s the Point?\u00a0<\/a><\/em>is a film of a public talk with Ringu Tulku Rinpoche. \u00a0I Call You Legendary<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>by Jaiya John recites a poem he presented\u00a0at the Florida Dependency Summit<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Kate Roddick, a health-care practitioner has made her first contribution with her poem, Sometimes<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

Eddie Buck is back with\u00a0Days 1 and 2: End to End<\/em><\/a>, recounting his fascinating journey from Land’s End to John O’Groats on a bike.<\/p>\n

David Syme is a new contributor with his fascinating account of \u00a0his visit to Tibet. \u00a0David is a retired linguist and Changing Tibet<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>is based on a presentation he gave at a University of the Third Age\u00a0<\/em>gathering.<\/p>\n

Finally, there is a piece I wrote a while ago,\u00a0I Was There<\/em><\/a>, an account of my time in India when Indira Gandhi was assassinated.<\/p>\n
