Welcome all to this edition of Many Roads for Bodhicharya.<\/em><\/h2>\n

As I write, hurricane Florence is slowly moving across the Carolinas causing flooding and endangering lives in\u00a0 unprecedented weather conditions.\u00a0 The Mangkhut typhoon has reached Hong Kong with winds of 177 kph and with the death toll from landslides and floods still being assessed in the Philippines.<\/h2>\n

Of course, there are varied reactions to the change in climate.\u00a0 That it is changing is accepted by most people:\u00a0 Although the changes are beneficial for the English wine growers, the vintners in France are worried about wildfires and the effect on their vineyards.<\/h2>\n

Drought in Australia is affecting the farmers.\u00a0 One sheep and cattle farmer has said,\u00a0\u201cWe need to stick to the Paris agreement, we need to stop burning coal and we need to commit to more renewable energy,\u201d\u00a0 Meanwhile, in the USA, the revival of the coal industry is taking place.<\/h2>\n

NASA<\/a> has published an uncompromising account of the evidence that global climate is changing for the worse.\u00a0 An interesting publication takes us to solutions, Mitigation and Adaptation<\/a>.<\/h2>\n

Individually, it is up to everyone to be aware of climate change and think how we can help in our proactive and small ways.<\/h2>\n
