Now that the world is in lockdown, we have the opportunity to look at ourselves in relation to how we spend our time.<\/h4>\n

In this edition of\u00a0Many Roads for Bodhicharya<\/em><\/span>, we have some ideas expressed in personal reactions to our lives in isolation expressed in poetry, prose and media.<\/h4>\n

Dr Miriam Maisel has produced a\u00a0 well-researched article, Are We Listening<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/a> on the response of a world in disorder ; a world in which capital gains take precedence over\u00a0 responsible\u00a0 action to ameliorate the adverse results of climate change and the subsequent problems which arise.<\/h4>\n

In Maeve O’Sullivan’s Coronahaiku\u00a0<\/em>Sequence <\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/a>she has skilfully woven the theme of the virus into commonplace activities and images which evoke our sense of separation from each other and nature.<\/h4>\n

Then there is F<\/em>ear<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/a>:\u00a0 this is expressed in Jaiya John’s haunting rendition of his poem; and in contrast to Mia’s two takes on greed<\/span> <\/em>and fear<\/span><\/em> written when she was 11 and 14 years old respectively.<\/h4>\n

For a long read, there is Yummamudra’s\u00a0Crazy Wisdom<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/em>with ideas on time and dance in relation to her determination to overcome the mundane aspects of life on our planet.<\/h4>\n
