alike.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Exercise dominion over the colored savages.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Cleanse them of their heathen ways.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Civilize them in Western manners,<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">And bring wealth and power<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Back to your homeland.<\/span><!--more--><\/h2>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">And so in search of his holy grail<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">The white man plundered<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">The colored world.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">He stole the riches of the<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Incas, Aztecs, and Native American Indians,<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Vietnamese and Asian Indians,<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Yoruba, Ashanti, Maasai, and Zulu,<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Not just gold and gems<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">But land, precious ancestral land.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">The white man created a world of<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Homeless people,<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Uprooted from their land,<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">A key to their sustenance and sense of self.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">He forced his faith, the Christian faith,<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Upon the conquered peoples,<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Belittling the faith of their fathers,<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Robbing them of another aspect of<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Their sense of self.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Much as they tried to do with their fellow white man,<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">The Jews, who although not heathen<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Were held to be infidels, Christ-killers.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">The self-righteousness of the Christian white man<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Knew no bounds.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">And in the process of plundering and colonizing,<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">The white man committed genocide<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Against the colored man.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">In Mexico, Central and South America,<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">A population of 38 million when the Spanish arrived<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Was reduced to 6 million 200 years later.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">In North America, a population of 7-12 million<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Was reduced to 237,000 by the end of the Indian wars.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">In Africa and Asia numbers are not available,<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">But the slave trade stole 17 million from their<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Ancestral African homes and way of life<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">To toil under the lash of slavery.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Although the majority of deaths were caused by Western disease.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Acts of purposeful violence and population control were common.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">The record of United States history<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Against Native Americans in this regard<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Is clear and transparent.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">These lands were not, as the white man likes to say,<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Uninhabited and available for settlement.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">They were home to millions of people in<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Long-established civilizations, with<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Vibrant cultures and religions.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">The white man will say that<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Slavery was abolished, recognizing its evil.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">But while it was abolished, not the Civil War<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Nor the 13th and14th Amendments,<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Nor the Civil Rights laws<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Restored the Black man to his<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Rightful dignity and respect<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">As a human being<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Because the dominant white culture<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Would not accept that;.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Though no longer slave<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">The black man was held inherently inferior.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">As a result, now in the 21st Century<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">The white man, or better put,<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">The Christian white man<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Has a very different burden.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">It is the burden of having committed<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Crimes against humanity<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">For hundreds of years<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">In the quest for power, dominance, and wealth.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">To relieve himself of this<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Spiritual and social burden,<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">The Christian white man must<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Atone for his sins,<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Both those of today and those of his forebears.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Atone by acknowledging these<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Acts of inhumanity and genocide<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Through public commissions and hearings.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">By changing all history books to<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Accurately state the abundance of<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Indigenous culture,<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">It&#8217;s destruction by the white man,<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">And the role of even these<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Decimated populations and imported slaves,<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">And their descendants, in the development,<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">And yes, often even the defense, of<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">The new nation state.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Atone by adopting an attitude of<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Remorse and understanding<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">For the suffering that his actions<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Have caused colored people<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Both in the past<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">And continuing to this day.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Atone, most importantly, by finally offering<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">The colored man respect and true equality.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">The white man&#8217;s burden is huge,<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">His responsibility for past evil is vast.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">The need for him to atone for past sins<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">Is self-evident if he wishes to be considered<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">A human being,<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #800000\">A child of God.<\/span><\/h2>\n<h6><\/h6>\n<h6><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6796 aligncenter\"
