This initiative aims to further the charity\u2019s objectives and create a home for Buddhists within the multi-faith Medway towns.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1220\" data-end=\"1443\">We are delighted to share that this vision has now become a reality: the <strong data-start=\"1293\" data-end=\"1364\">lease agreement with Medway Council was signed on 13th January 2025<\/strong>, officially marking the opening of <strong data-start=\"1400\" data-end=\"1440\">Bodhicharya UK\u2019s first Dharma Centre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1445\" data-end=\"1675\">On <strong data-start=\"1448\" data-end=\"1479\">30th June and 1st July 2025<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1481\" data-end=\"1505\">Ringu Tulku Rinpoche<\/strong> formally opened the <strong data-start=\"1526\" data-end=\"1602\">Bodhicharya Buddhist Meditation Centre for Healing, Helping, and Harmony<\/strong> in Rochester, Kent \u2014 a joyful and momentous occasion for all involved.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"uag-image-29742 aligncenter\" role=\"img\" src=\"https:\/\/d2wipdjmobk1g8.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/15155615\/BCUK-Signing-800x653.jpg\" alt=\"image of Lease Agreement between Bodhicharya UK and Medway Council .\" width=\"800\" height=\"653\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Signed Lease Agreement between Bodhicharya UK and Medway Council<br \/>\n(Left: Cesare Saguato \u2013 BCUK Chair, Right: Stuart McLeod \u2013 BCUK Trustee)<\/p>\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<p>Here is a recent message from our Chair:<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-blockquote uagb-block-9c72676c uagb-blockquote__skin-border uagb-blockquote__stack-img-none\">\n<blockquote class=\"uagb-blockquote\">\n<div class=\"uagb-blockquote__content\"><em>\u201cI want to extend my gratitude and thanks to all Bodhicharya UK Team members, old and new, for your service to Bodhicharya UK and the Buddha Dharma this year. Through the guidance and inspiration of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, the Lineage Masters, our teachers, especially Ringu Tulku Rinpoche, and our own practice and skilful actions, we have cultivated the ground to such a point that we have now planted the seed for the very first Bodhicharya UK Dharma Centre to grow. Such a thing, like everything, does not just pop up randomly, but is the result of innumerable causes and conditions \u2013 the karma of beings, and in this case very positive ones! This endeavour in and of itself IS DHARMA PRACTICE, and provides us all with the opportunity to practice the Six Paramitas of generosity, ethical conduct, patience, joyful diligence, meditative concentration and wisdom, so it is good for us and is good for others.
