Rinpoche visits Warsaw in 2010 as part of the preparations for the planned first visit of HH Karmapa to Europe (which had to be cancelled later). The historic first Kagyu Monlam in the West will take place in Benchen Karma Kamtsang Centre in Grabnik in June 2010, and Rinpoche states that the preparations are going extremely well.
The topic of the talk is “The Four Noble Truths”, the first teaching of the Buddha and the basis of Buddhism. They are not easy to comprehend for beginners, because they are very deep and include the whole of Buddhism. They can be approached as a method of solving problems, the 3rd Truth says that there is hope for everybody, on all different levels.
