This teaching on the Four Bardos was given at Bokar Thubten Ling in Ibiza, Spain.
Bardo is a Tibetan word which means “in between” or “in transition”. We are constantly changing, always in transition, in a bardo. The bardo states can be categorized as four or sometimes six, and there are specific teachings and instructions for each of them. The essence of the bardo teachings is that every moment is an opportunity. We must use that opportunity, and then we have nothing to worry about in any of the bardos.
