A SUMMARY
by Maggy Jones
The true nature of all beings is essentially pure but we have negative perceptions and therefore react with negative emotions and create negative karma, difficulties and pain for ourselves and others. We should purify these defilements and obstacles, and our wrong way of seeing things. This purification must be for all our negative deeds and thoughts otherwise we shall suffer in all our lives. Purification takes less time than working through them! Every time you do something to help that also helps to purify. Even refraining from doing something wrong helps. There are many methods. All the Buddhas and high Beings can help, but particularly Vajrasattva. The dedication of Amitabha Buddha and Pureland Buddhism. But Vajrasattva (Dorje Sempa) is the practice of Tibet. Description of 3 images. Unimportance of pronunciation – there are many different accents. Sanskrit says “Vajra”, Tibetans say “Benza” because “v” is not in Tibetan speech. Describes the visualisation.
Ultimately there is nothing to purify because our true nature is pure. We are the Primordial Buddha – we just don’t realise this. The 4 powers of support. Q & A
