When we can feel that and think about that, we are actually, at the same time transforming ourselves as our minds are focused on those qualities. This way can be stronger than by solely focusing on the injustice or negativity of another’s suffering. If we can relate to an embodiment of compassion, we can feel joyful compassion and our mind becomes attuned to that.
1:02:11. The highest teaching is that of wisdom, including Mahamudra; where we try to see things as they really are, not just as a philosphy, but more deeply experienced through meditation. You have to do it yourself -work to transform yourself; belief and faith alone are insufficent in Buddhism.
