A teaching on the Four Seals, the four important principles of Buddhism. If any school accepts these four principles, that school belongs to Buddhism. Here Rinpoche introduces these Four Seals not just as a philosophy, but relating to our actual practice.
1. Everything, that is compounded, is impermanent.
2. As long as we have this form or body, or this certain identification, with which we experience the negative emotions (kleshas), we will have suffering and be in a samsaric state of being.
3. Nirvana is peace.
4. All phenomena are emptiness and selfless.
