Rinpoche was invited to give a talk at a symposium in the Rheingoldhalle in Mainz, which was planned as a continuation of the visit of HH Dalai Lama in 2009. The topic is “Is happiness possible without ethics?” or, as Rinpoche puts it “Happiness can only happen if there is ethics”. He bgins with a definition of the two, happiness and ethics.
