Rely on the Teachings, Not the Personalities
Buddha taught the so called Four Reliances:
- Rely on the dharma, not on the personalities.
- Don’t rely on the words but on the meaning.
- Don’t rely on the provisional meaning but the definitive meaning.
- Don’t rely on the relative truth but on the ultimate truth.
Rinpoche gave a teaching on these Four Reliances and also talked about how to relate with the teacher on the path.
