Rinpoche was asked to teach on Dzogchen and Mahamudra, with special reference to the Third Karmapa`s Mahamudra Prayer.
In the first teachings he gives a general introduction to practicing and approaching Mahamudra. Comparing Dzogchen and Mahamudra, Mahamudra is sometimes called the ground and Dzogchen the result, but really the experience is the same.
To begin with explore what is the mind, the dualistic view. Understanding and knowledge are important also, although it is all about non-conceptual experience.
In part 3 Rinpoche begins his teaching on the actual prayer text.

Since the original recording was on audio tapes, there is usually a gap around min 45, sometimes several minutes long. The parts do not match with the actual teachings.
