A collection of Tibetan Folktales told by Rinpoche was published in 1998 by Theseus Verlag Germany under the title “Das Juwel des Drachen – Märchen aus Tibet” (The jewel of the dragon – fables from Tibet).
During his stay at Karma Tekchen Yi Ong Ling Retreatzentrum Halscheid in November 1997, Rinpoche recorded an introduction to the book and also told three folk tales to the group.
Part 1: As a preparation for publication, Rinpoche gave an introduction to the book about the situation in olden times in Tibet and his love for stories.
Part 2: Three stories to be added to the book

- The man and the tiger
- The lazy son
