In life we meet situations and people which cause us pain. How can we use these situations positively? If you can change your reactions, you may still feel some pain but the whole scene will be positive. Thus the next time this occurs, it will feel less harsh and we recognise the benefit. If we can apply this experience to all events then we shall become good practitioners. How you react to situations is up to you. Working at this practice will help you through bad times, N.B. Bad times are also impermanent. We are in degenerating times of negative emotions – the dharma shows us right and wrong. Story of Tibet recovering from Chinese propaganda.
