In this video, Ringu Tulku Rinpoche talks about why we feel change and try to avoid it, even though change is unavoidable. He explains that everything changes, and that things are interdependent, but we don’t believe it.
We believe that we exist independently, and that everything else exists independently too. This leads to suffering because we want things, we like to stay the same and things we don’t like to change.
Rinpoche teaches that if we can see things as they are, we can understand ourselves and our relationships with others, and react differently to things, which could solve a lot of problems.
