A Summary
by Maggy Jones
Patience, forbearance and tolerance, the opposite of hatred and anger which are regarded as the strongest negative emotion. First, try not to be overpowered by hatred and wanting to harm others as this harms ourselves; there is no happiness here. Learn to let go. Secondly, to develop better habits takes time and there will be obstacles. Do not give up, but go on step by step. Third is tolerance, the tolerance of ideas of others. Yours may not be the only way, listen with respect.
