At Minh Tam Pagoda, the Vietnamese temple in Dublin, Rinpoche was requested to give a teaching on Amitabha and his Pureland (in Tibetan, Dewachen). After the talk Rinpoche gave a blessing for the new temple.

Introductions in English and Vietnamese. There is no special “Pureland” school in Tibetan Buddhism but all Tibetan schools follow Amitabha Buddha and make prayers to be reborn in Dewachen (Tibetan), Pureland, (Sanskrit) part of their practice.
Amitabha Buddha, aware of how difficult it is to achieve Nirvana, took a powerful vow and created another realm, almost as good, but easier to attain. This land is Pureland (Tib.
