Guidelines for recording
We ask that all Rinpoche’s teachings are video recorded and shared with the Ringu Tulku Archive by the hosting organisation.
This can be done either by using a video camera or by hosting the event online (Zoom etc) and recording it. Your online event can either be private for your group or open to the public.
Live online events
The simplest way to record an online teaching is to invite one of the Archive technical team to attend your event (giving them permission to record or making them a co-host) so that they can make a recording and add it to the archive on your behalf. Then you don’t have to record or upload the large video file. To arrange that, please contact teachings@bodhicharya.org
If you need technical help from our Archive Zoom Team to host an online zoom event, or would like us to host the event for you, please contact webcasts@bodhicharya.org.

Uploading recordings to the Archive
If you are already a member of the Archive, simply login to see the upload page here:
If you are not an Archive member, you can sign up for free guest membership for one year here
Then just login and visit the Archivists Area to upload your files and teaching details.
Event promotion via the Archive Live Events page
If you plan on broadcasting the teaching event live, and wish us to promote the it through the Archive Live Events page (to over 1,000 of Rinpoche’s students and friends), please confirm this with us and send on the following details to webmaster@bodhicharya.org:
- Teaching title
- An image we can use
- Date and time
- Description of the event
- Zoom link or registration details
- Donation or payment link (if required)
