BA4_1 Carefulness

Bodhicharya_channel

With this video BA4_1, we are starting the fourth chapter of the Bodhicharyavatara, Carefulness, in Tibetan pag yü. Here Rinpoche gives an overview of this chapter which begins the section on discipline, or how to prevent bodhichitta from decreasing, and then explains the first stanza which is a statement of this discipline.

To view the video, simply click on the image to view all the Chapter 4 videos.

If you prefer listening to the teaching in audio, use the audio player below.

The audio as well as the audio translations in different languages and the transcript of this teaching are all available on Chapter 4 page.

We are also studying the commentary transcript on Chapter 4, which you can download here and in the Library section. Further recommended reading: the commentary book by Kunzang Pelden (Khenpo Kunpal), The Nectar of Manjushri’s Speech, p. 139-144.

    Dear Master Ringu Tulku Rimpoche,
As always, your teaching it is so usefull & encouraging. Thank you so much.
The way you explain what “pag yü” is… it is so clear, simple, and easy to learn.
It is almost like a tale…sweat and intriguing, with assessment.
Thank you so much to explain us in that way, it is so kind from you, makes everything easy.
We wish everything is much better after the last earthquake. We wish help and donations are abundant too. We will help from our country as much as posible.
    Love & Prayers

dear Rinpoche, thank you for this teaching on carefulness – it seems as if it could be so helpful and practical in everyday life. However when I think of my daily life at work, sometimes I get very stressed – not because of the nature of the work itself, but because of having so much to do in a limited period of time – and I wonder how can I be more careful of my state of mind in such situations?
    warmest wishes
    Lynda
