Here Ringu Tulku Rinpoche explains the greatness of the bodhisattvas who have generated the bodhichitta in themselves and who are always trying to help others to have lasting peace and happiness. A contact with such a person is always beneficial to the beings.

Rinpoche, I know this is illusory, but my current experience is that there is such a wide gap between my aspiration to generate bodhicitta, and my actual daily dharma practice of trying to let go of negative emotions. Will this gap become less extreme if I am patient and wait for the teachings to come on the Bodhicharyavatara, or is there a way of bringing things together more actively?
thank you.
