Ringu Tulku Rinpoche’s Dublin Teachings.

The Bodhicharya Ireland Weekend Teachings, on 9th and 10th April 2011, will be on ‘Turning Suffering and Happiness into Enlightenment’ by Dodrupchen Jigmé Tenpé Nyima (1865 – 1926), who was the third incarnation of the Dodrupchen Lineage. The talk takes place at the Hilton Hotel Kilmainham, Dublin. These teachings raise funds for Rinpoche’s charity projects. To find out more visit Bodhicharya Ireland’s blog.

Also, three evening talks will take place at Kagyu Samye Dzong. The topic will be ‘The Works of the First Karmapa‘, Düsom Khyenpa. This year is the 900th anniversary of the Karmapa lineage and to mark this, Rinpoche will be giving progressive teachings from the same text at centres throughout Europe. The evening talks at Kagyu Samye Dzong run from Wednesday 6th – Friday 8th April.

To book your place and for further information about both events please contact Kagyu Samye Dzong, Kilmainham, tel 00353 (0)1 4537427 or email info@buddhism.ie

  1. Very much looking forward to this. It’s such a powerful text (TSHE). Can’t wait to hear Rinpoche’s commentary. I’m sure It will be worth the journey (for those considering coming from abroad).
