Shakyamuni Buddha Rupa for the Bodhicharya UK Centre

Dear Dharma Friends

Earlier this month Ringu Tulku Rinpoche’s brother Salga discovered an exquisitely crafted Buddha statue in bronze and covered in gold leaf in Kathmandu Nepal.

As you will know, Bodhicharya UK now has a new home in Rochester Kent. However, the Buddha which we currently have is on loan from a dear friend. It is Rinpoche’s recommendation that Bodhicharya UK really needs its own Buddha. Now such a Buddha has been identified we are asking you to consider making a donation in order to both acquire the Buddha and ship it to Rochester, UK, which will cost a total of £4000.

As you will understand, a Buddha statue is more than a work of art. It is an important symbol and inspiration of refuge, compassion and mindfulness in all who encounter it. In our new Centre, the statue will serve as a focal point for meditation and practice embodying the living presence of the Dharma for generations to come.

Your contribution, whether large or small, will be an offering of immense merit. Together, our collective generosity will ensure that our new Centre has an inspirational representation of the Buddha. If you are able to give, then please make your donation by bank transfer or using the donation method below. Thank you for your generosity.

With much gratitude
