There are still a few places left on the Pilgrimage with Ringu Tulku Rinpoche in Sri Lanka in January the 15th to 21st.
Ringu Tulku Rinpoche has been invited to lead a pilgrimage in one of the world’s most famed Buddhist countries, in the new year 2015. The organizers and hosts are Kumanga Andrahennadi and her family, for whom the Island is home.
The Pilgrimage will include visits to ancient sites that are central to Sri Lankan Theravada Buddhism, and were established by the son and daughter of Ashoka, including Anuradhapura and Avukana. In the final evening of the Pilgrimage Rinpoche will inaugurate Bodhicharya Sri Lanka in Colombo.
Sri Lanka is where the Pali Canon [Tipitaka] was committed to writing in 29BCE.
Costs will be $944/£600/€757 to include transport within Sri Lanka/excluding travel to Sri Lanka.
