Rinpoche has now travelled to Ralang Monastery for the Empowerments of the Treasury of Kagyu Tantras. The transmissions will continue until mid-October. It’s not likely that Rinpoche can send new recordings during this time, so there is an extended timeline for study questions for this and the next week’s video teaching. Regarding the training of our mind on action with mindfulness and awareness, there are the three shilas or precepts in the Mahayana discipline: to refrain from doing negative deeds, to accumulate positive deeds and to help beings.
Refraining from negative deeds is discussed in two points: how to maintain the purity of the actions of body, speech and mind; and how to maintain the training of abstaining from negative action.
