Make a Donation to Bodhicharya UK

As per our policy, donations are made to BCUK to fund all the activities of the charity: it is at the Trustees discretion how much to allocate to specific projects: however trustees are actively seeking donors’ and members’ views in deciding the allocation, towards such projects as the dharma centre, the dharma support fund and the various events we organise and other organisations we support. Your donations go towards helping all these activities and we will report back annually on how we have helped, including the funds that we have provided.

Founding Member Monthly Donation

Bodhicharya UK (BCUK) have established a new dharma centre from which activities can be organised, as well as offering support to the local community. The location for the centre is in Kent, with Medway Council very much supportive of the work BCUK does as well as providing the lease.

There are different levels of support you can provide:

  • Supporter £5 per month.
  • Founder £10 per month.
  • Patron £15 per month.
  • Or a custom amount of your choice.

If you wish to be a founding supporter, and help cover the monthly costs to keep the centre running, please email uk@bodhicarya.org  and provide us with your contact details and preferred monthly donation which will support the charity in running the centre. We will use your email to keep in touch and follow up about your support. You can also directly set up a standing order using the charity’s bank details below, or set up a recurring donation with the PayPal link below. Please also fill out the Gift Aid declaration if you are able to and return the form to us.

Gift Aid

If you are a UK Tax payer and make a donation of your own money to Bodhicharya UK and one of its Funds, with your permission we can claim tax relief and that means for every £1 you donate, the Trust receives  £1.25 or for every £100 you donate, the Trust receives £125.

You only need to do this once every four years and it will apply to any donations you make in the future or you have made in the past 4 years: however it is your responsibility to inform us if your circumstances change and you are no longer eligible for Gift Aid.

Please send an email to uk@bodhicharya.org if your circumstances change.

Please note, if you pay less Income and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in the relevant tax year, it is your responsibility to pay any difference. In submitting the Gift Aid form below you are also giving permission for your details to be retained on the Trust database.
